Policies

Illness Policy

In an effort to maintain a healthy environment, we ask that if you are sick (which includes but is not limited to; cold, Covid-19, fever, flu, etc.) or have the onset of symptoms of an illness that you reschedule your appointment. If you arrive for your appointment with symptoms of an illness, you will be asked to reschedule your appointment. This is for your well-being as well as the health of our employees, therapists, and clients. Receiving a facial when you are sick is not advised. While in the early and acute stages of a cold, the flu, or other illness, a facial can accelerate the onset of the infection and intensify its severity (via additional circulation of blood & lymph). If you get a facial after the infection has peaked, you may experience a relapse of symptoms and feel sick again. Please wait until you have been well for at least a week before getting your facial. If you do need to cancel your appointment, please call us as soon as possible and we will be happy to reschedule your appointment for a time when you are feeling better.

Age Requirement

We accept appointments for children under the age of 16 if they are accompanied by a parent or guardian during the service and have a parent or guardian signed waiver. Children 16-18 years old are required to have a parent or guardian signed waiver and are not required to be accompanied by a parent or guardian during the service unless requested by the therapist.

Cancellation Policy

Please be aware, as a courtesy to our staff, we do require a 24- hour notice for cancellation of any scheduled appointment. Up to a 50% fee of the scheduled service may be applied to your credit card and will be non-refundable if this notice is not met. A no-show of any scheduled appointment will require a 100% fee of the scheduled service price to be applied to your credit card and will be non-refundable. Thank you in advance for your understanding of our policy.

Children

While we love kids, they can be distracting during the limited time we have together. We ask that you enjoy this time for yourself and find a sitter for your precious little ones.

We do, however, allow children to enjoy specific spa services. If they are under 16, they must be accompanied by an adult. Any children under 18 must also have an adult sign their initial consultation form.

Payment

Full payment is due at the time of service. We accept cash & debit/credit cards.

Arriving Late

If you arrive late for your session, we’ll be happy to provide services within the remaining time of your appointment. However, due to our fully booked schedule, we’re typically unable to extend appointments beyond the originally scheduled time. Please note that the full cost of the service you booked will still apply, regardless of the shortened session. Thank you for your understanding!

Gift Cards

Gift cards may be purchased for any value amount and are redeemable for any in salon services, with the exception of wedding services. Haus of Beauty by HS-Artistry is not responsible for lost, stolen, unauthorized card use, or damaged cards. Promotional Gift Cards must be used in one visit and have no cash value and no transferable value.

Gratuities

Gratuities are not included in the prices of our services and are always appreciated. All gratuities are at the client’s discretion but are customarily 20-25% of the regular cost of service.

Health Considerations

Please inform us at the time of scheduling of any health conditions, medications, allergies, special needs, or concerns you have. Your safety is important to us & some services may not be appropriate for certain conditions or allergies.

Cell Phone Usage

In our effort to maintain a relaxing & tranquil atmosphere for clients, we ask that all cell phones and pagers be silenced or turned off upon entering our boutique. Cell phone use is not permitted beyond the reception area.

Refunds

We do not offer refunds.
